Hey there, it’s Brendan Friedrich! I’m 24 now and living in sunny Florida! I currently announce baseball games for a local sports academy and audition online as I continue to expand my voice-over work.

My favorite things about A Place To Be are all the cool performances we did on top of the great music therapy sessions! Not only have I enjoyed singing and acting different parts in front of lively audiences, but I also embraced the opportunity to make a lot of friends through these events. From the Same Sky Project to the big annual summer camp and the holiday recitals, I’ve met so many amazing people, and I have a lot of fantastic memories. My favorite role was when I played the radio host in “Encore”, and my favorite holiday recital was when I performed my original song “Kindness” for the first time. 

A Place To Be has affected me by building the foundation for kick starting my voice-over career. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the amazing opportunities, from live performances, to emceeing at the Middleburg Christmas parade, and even recording my first demo and building my first website. All these things were great stepping stones that have laid the groundwork for getting me to where I am now. I’m forever grateful for all the mentorship and guidance I received along the way at A Place To Be.
