Virginia non-profit uses music therapy to build community, hope

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Creating community, belonging, and hope through music therapy, performance and expressive arts. That is the mission of A Place to Be.

The creative arts non-profit has been providing services to children and adults in Northern Virginia for the last 14 years.

“A place to be is really for anyone who feels they need a safe space in the community, our services really cater to children and adults with special needs. But this is a hub for anyone in the community,” said Kyle Boardman, Artistic Manager, A Place to Be.
