Hello! My name is Cameron Friedrich, I’m 21 years old, and live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I currently work full time as a cyber security analyst for a national IT firm. 

My favorite thing about A Place To Be was being a part of numerous performances including the holiday recitals, summer camp shows, and the Same Sky Project. Some of my favorite memories include performing the Same Sky show in Kansas City, and playing the role of the love bug in Stink. 

A Place To Be has affected me by providing many social and inclusive opportunities. From making new friends at the annual summer camps and other events, to teaching others about my disability and helping to promote empathy and inclusion with the cast of the Same Sky Project. I’m very grateful for these unique opportunities I had. A Place To Be helped me gain the confidence I needed to go to technical college and begin my IT career.
