Chris Sola first joined A Place To Be at the age of 12, diving into a world of creativity and connection that quickly became a second home. He especially loved music therapy sessions with Brandon Somers, Skylar Freeman, MJ, Cedric, and Ray Leone, and fondly remembers Pop Rocks as his very first camp experience.

Chris shined on stage in many productions—playing Pinocchio in Human Tales, charming a fan club as the Owl in Abira, and rocking dark glasses as Detective Fox in The Snow Monster. He also participated in the Thursday Transition Social Group and performed in numerous winter and spring recitals, as well as the all-day transition program.

Now 23, Chris works as a baking clerk at his local Harris Teeter, where the bakery has become his “happy place”—he bakes cookies, ices cupcakes, and slices bread with pride.

Outside of work, he enjoys training with his personal trainer, playing pickleball, and dominating in Mario Kart. Known for his great sense of humor, Chris loves telling jokes and making people laugh.

He’s currently excited about his first Camp On Tour adventure—traveling across three states, visiting multiple theme and water parks, and making new friends.

Looking ahead, he dreams of more vacations with his family—especially ones that include an infinity pool!
