Farris began his journey at A Place To Be at age 21, quickly becoming a vibrant part of the community. He participated in music therapy sessions, social groups, and served as a mentor at camps. He also performed in several APTB productions, including Abira and the Mountain, Reach Out, Behind The Label, and Pathfinder Events.

Now 32, Farris teaches voice and guitar at Bach to Rock, where he enjoys practicing music, relaxing at home in his apartment and connecting with others through his passion. A multi-instrumentalist, he can play up to eight instruments and even recorded an entire album with APTB, performing all vocals and instrumentals himself.

Farris is currently looking forward to performing at LoCoFest 2025, representing APTB on August 8th and continuing to write and share his original music. His greatest joy is helping others grow through music, and he’s excited about continuing to teach and perform in the years ahead.
