Ryan Lowry began his journey with A Place To Be at age 8, where he found joy in just about everything—from music therapy sessions, camps, and plays to social groups, which became a favorite as he got older. He performed in many shows including Little MermaidBest FriendPenny the PianoStinkHoly Cow, and Encore.

Now 24, Ryan works as a Front End Operator at Roche Brothers in Mashpee, Massachusetts. He’ll soon be attending Cape Cod Community College, where he’s excited to begin studying physics. He enjoys working with numbers, swimming, listening to music, and spending time at social events with friends from the LIFE program.

A fun fact about Ryan: if he could travel back in time, he’d go to the early 1100s to suggest a better power source than fossil fuel! Right now, he’s most excited to start college and begin his physics journey.

Looking ahead, Ryan is focused on his goal of living independently like his sister. He’s been learning essential life skills—like household tasks, using public transportation, practicing safety, and improving communication—and he knows he can do it.
